On Monday, Apple quietly began selling refurbished models of the Apple Watch Series 7 on its online store. Customers can now save up to $70 by opting for a refurbished Series 7 model compared to Apple Store retail prices — but not all versions are currently available.
The 41mm aluminum Apple Watch Series 7 with a regular sports band is $339 at the Apple Refurbished Store, down from the official price of $399 for new products. As for the 45mm model, the refurbished price is $359. Both prices are for GPS models only, without cellular connectivity.
However, as pointed out Mike Rumors, the only refurbished option available for the Apple Watch Series 7 is the aluminum case model. Those looking for stainless steel and titanium versions still have to buy a brand new device.
The Apple Watch Series 7, released in October 2021, has a larger screen and thinner bezels. Internally, the components of the latest Apple Watch are nearly identical to the Apple Watch Series 6, which is no longer sold by Apple (though you can still find it at refurb stores).
Apple Certified Refurbished products are used devices that go through Apple’s rigorous refurbishment process before being sold. While only some devices are returned due to technical issues, all devices go through Apple’s rigorous quality refurbishment process. Refurbished devices come in different boxes with original accessories and a one-year limited warranty.
You can view all available refurbished models on the Apple Refurbished Store website. Availability and pricing may vary by country. Of course, you can also look for Apple Watch deals for less at Amazon and other stores.
