Roborock has just launched a new high-end robot vacuum, the Roborock S7 Pro Ultra, on Tuesday, June 28, 2022. This new model from the manufacturer’s flagship S series is a midway between the Roborock S7+ and the S7 MaxV Ultra. It combines all the features of the S7+, but with an additional self-cleaning emptying station.
- Roborock S7 Pro Ultra will be available in France on July 7, 2022
- The robot vacuum will be available for pre-order on Amazon during Prime Day until July 12 for 949 euros, then 1199 euros
- The biggest novelty is the Empty Wash Fill Dock station for emptying, washing and filling robot vacuums
Unlike the Q series, the latest model we tested, the Roborock Q7 Max+, the Roborock S series is the manufacturer’s flagship series. The current flagship of Stone Stone is the S7 MaxV Ultra, priced at 1,500 euros. The Roborock S7 Pro Ultra is slightly below it in terms of price and technical data sheet, since it sells for 1200 euros.
Basically, we have the same range of functions as the Roborock S7+, except that the Empty Wash Fill Dock station, available as a bundle, allows you to clean the robot’s mop and fill its water tank, in addition to only collecting the dirt sucked out.

LiDAR Mapping, Sonic Vibrating Mops, and Self-Cleaning Dump Stations
We’ll start with the station that comes with the Roborock S7 Pro Ultra, as it’s the main selling point of the robot vacuum. Therefore, the station supports emptying, washing and filling of the Roborock S7 Pro Ultra.
It collects vacuumed dirt in a 2.5-liter capacity dust container, which can be stored for up to 7 weeks before needing to be emptied, depending on your usage. It also cleans the robot vacuum’s mop at 600 rpm. During this process, the workstation also cleans itself. Finally, it fills the tank to cover an area of 300 square meters.
As for the sweeping robot, it has a suction power of 5100 Pa, and its mop features VibraRise technology for “sonic vibration cleaning” of 3000 rubs per minute. The Roborock S7 Pro Ultra also has a carpet detector that automatically lifts the mop and goes over small obstacles or washes textured/raised floors.
There’s also LiDAR technology for 3D mapping of your living space. With its PreciSense feature, the Roborock S7 Pro Ultra constantly scans the room to avoid getting stuck and adapts to potential obstacles. You can also set up a 3D map for multiple floors of your house, and the robot will identify which floors, exclusion zones, and invisible walls it is on.
It’s all done in the Roborock’s companion app, where you can program the time and type of cleaning as well as the suction power of your choice.
