While the new characters, namely Blanca, Dalsim, Honda and Ken were just officially announced at the Tokyo Game Show, we were able to get the latest playable version street fighter 6. We’ve already seen Ken in an unofficial video that has surfaced on Twitter, so it’s no surprise to be able to test him during this session, even before his official announcement. We rarely talk about it in the video, but Ken is obviously playing the way he always has, but with a new special move that allows for chain kicks, dragon whip kicks (which obviously isn’t his tatsumaki, it jams too) . The appeal of novelty is more felt than the bodybuilder’s blonde, and we detail the new mechanics, especially the shock actuation, which seems to lose out to only a handful of options (EX lens, cup or super). But the big unknown is of course the in-game feel, and there’s a fundamental question: is the handling better than Street Fighter V? Thankfully, the answer is yes, although the title is still in development.
