Still in development by Matt Dabrowski, Streets of Rogue’s sequel remains a procedurally generated open-world Roguelite that’s both about crafting and exploring the world by spreading chaos in the style of old-school Grand Theft Auto. The idea is to make it a true sandbox with RPG elements to best personalize your gaming experience.
Procedurally generated worlds create forests, islands, cities, caves and “Occasional Cannibal Village”, and there is clearly no story to follow or goals to accomplish. Instead, there will be events that you might be involved in, such as a coup organized by a bandit faction, or the possibility of becoming the richest and most famous peasant in the world. Because yes, players will have the opportunity to explore all types of content, from hacking to farming to resource mining and racing. The classes available represent the absurdity of the content, with the possibility to play a scientist, a thief, a wrestler, a vampire or a gorilla, or even a combination of these characters.
Multiplayer mode plans to be able to cooperate and oppose. rogue street 2 It is currently only planned for release on Steam, and should be released in 2023.
