We have arrived. The moment of great division. Microsoft did announce beta changes to the Xbox Home interface before they become final and general next year. Since it’s an interface, the goal is to make navigation more pleasant and easier to search for specific applications.
Speaking to explain the change was Ivy Krislov, the lead product manager for Xbox.
“We know the home page is where players spend the most time. We can always do better to make the experience faster and more familiar. That’s why we started months of testing to create a custom home screen that would stand out The best trends and requests from fans.”
As such, some elected officials selected by Xbox will have access to this new interface today, which can already be seen in the pictures. It seems that the main novelty is the search bar in the upper right corner of the screen. We also noticed the presence of the center of the game quick resumeand the My Games & Apps and Microsoft Store tiles are prominently present.
“We know it will take some time to find the right setup, so we will be making incremental changes throughout. We plan to deploy the new Home in 2023 while taking player input into consideration.”
