Apple’s latest iPad mini has been on sale for less than a year, but we’ve seen multiple price cuts for the (almost) portable tablet. Amazon, which has been hovering around the $459 price point lately, is now discounting the 64GB iPad Mini even further, bringing it down to an all-time low of $400. That’s $99 off the original price or 20% off.

If you’re looking for more storage, Amazon has also dropped the 256GB model, which is now $540. That means you’ll save $109 or 17% compared to the retailer’s list price.
The 2021 iPad mini scored 89 in our review, scoring its “full screen” design without the home button of its predecessor. It has a Liquid Retina 326ppi panel with a resolution of 2,266 x 1,488. The tablet is flat on the edges and also has a TouchID-enabled power button, ditching the Lightning port for USB-C charging.
The tablet features a new 12-megapixel ultra-wide front-facing camera with Center Stage support, which, like Facebook’s Portal device, automatically pans and zooms to keep you centered on the screen during video calls.
Thanks to the A15 Bionic chip that powers the tablet, it’s also able to handle the problems we throw at it. It typically lasts up to 12 hours between charges, and it also supports the second-generation Apple Pencil, so you can use it to doodle or take notes on the go.
