ASUS RTX 3090 EVA Edition
Following the successful launch of the ASUS ROG STRIX series GUNDAM-themed series, the company is now launching a new series based on the anime mecha story EVANGELION. It seems that there will be fewer products this time, but more importantly, new graphics cards are coming.
Asus has opted for a GeForce RTX 3090 non-Ti model with a ROG STRIX OC design (ROG-STRIX-RTX3090-O24G-EVA). This is actually the fourth variant of the model, but this time with a completely different green and purple color scheme.

As far as specs go, these aren’t listed yet, but the EVA Edition will likely feature the same clock as other ROG STRIX variants, a 1890 MHz boost clock. At least the GUNDAM and ROG STRIX WHITE versions do.
Asus hasn’t announced this model anywhere so far, but the CoolPC store appears to be taking the first pre-orders. Only 15 cards are available, each priced at TWD 63,990, or about $2,173, according to the site.
The RTX 3090 features a GA102 GPU and 24 GB of GDDR6X memory. Being based on the RTX 3090 non-Ti means that the EVA version will use the standard configuration of three 8-pin connectors instead of a single 16-pin power connector. In case anyone manages to buy two of these cards, the NVLink connectors are there.

As already mentioned, Asus has spawned three RTX 3090 ROG STRIX models, including the original black and silver cards (this is the first NVIDIA RTX 30 card leaked, by the way), the GUNDAM Edition, and the ROG STRIX WHITE. All four models appear to use the exact same PCB, but their cooling shrouds, stickers, and RGB lighting effects have been modified for each model.
