Microsoft has finally succumbed to years of pressure to bring Clippy back from the grave… sort of.
With Halo Infinite Season 2, Clippy is back in the form of a Legendary weapon amulet, though it’s unclear how players will unlock it, as it’s not available in the Battle Pass or earned in-game.
James Shields, senior program manager for Xbox hardware, showed off Clippy and the associated nameplate “Clipster” in a tweet.
There’s also an unlockable tea bag weapon charm coming soon.
Season 2 brings three new game modes – Landgrab, King of the Hill and Last Spartan Standing – as well as two brand new maps – Catalyst and Breaker.
It was also announced that Season 2 will run for six months and will include an enduring battle pass.
There are also rumors that 343 Industries will soon announce a battle royale mode for the game.
