“The studio has undergone some fundamental changes in recent years: opening a studio in Montreal and expanding into game publishing has brought the company to around 320 talent in France and Canada who have benefited from a significant increase in flexibility, thanks to Our FROG (Fully Remote Organization) program“, we can read the studio’s press release.
If that workforce is indeed large, it still shares a series of six projects developed in-house, including five self-published and co-produced with Focus Entertainment. With the addition of Gerda: A Flame In Winter, developed by Danish studio PortaPlay, the seven projects thus correspond to the seven flags paraded in this video.
“With this flag, we want to reintroduce the apostrophe and the space between DON’T and NOD to give the full meaning to the name DON’T NOD. DON’T NOD is made up of two words and stands for our as a company and in the games we create, we are not afraid of the tendency to go against convention and break code, also illustrated by D break and N visible inside“, elaborated CEO Oskar Guilbert, according to which this new visual makeover will help the studio communicate the core of its identity.
