Samsung has announced that the Galaxy S22, S22+ and S22 Ultra will soon receive the One UI 5 update. As the manufacturer announced at its developer conference, Android 13 is expected to arrive on Samsung flagships by the end of October this year.

The South Korean manufacturer has been testing its next major Android software update for months. The latest is One UI 5.0 Beta 4 that Samsung released to the Galaxy S22s last week. However, it is unclear which final version will be rolled out to the public later in October.
Android 13: Samsung will start rolling out for its smartphones
Apart from the Galaxy S22 series, Samsung has not specified the availability of One UI 5.0 for other devices. But according to previous schedules, Android 13 could land on the Galaxy S21 and the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4 as early as December. However, we’ll have to wait for confirmation from Samsung to confirm this.

One UI 5.0: What’s New in the Update
Changes and additions in One UI 5.0 include extensive lock screen customization and an improved interface from notifications to the home screen. Specifically, widgets have been improved and can now be stacked in floating sections. What’s more, Samsung has overhauled the default keyboard, adding more languages and smart features.
